How does Roman numeral conversion work?
Roman numerals use combinations of seven letters — I (1), V (5), X (10), L (50), C (100), D (500), and M (1000) — combined by addition and subtraction rules to represent any number. A date is converted by turning the day, month, and year into their own Roman numeral groups, usually separated by dots or slashes (for example, 25/12/2024 becomes XXV·XII·MMXXIV).
